Let get fall break next week!

1. This week we will begin our 7 habits project this will be a group project where each group will take one of the habit a create a peer teaching presentation for the class.

2. We will work creatively to improve our websites and mobile apps for our businesses as well.

3. We will work on our organizational structure for our businesses.

4. We will also continue to build our social media following for our businesses.

5. We will also have our 10 rules of success presentation for Oprah and President Obama!

Intro to Buiness week 6-9

Introduction to Business and Technology

This week we will have our 10 rules to success presentation as well as get into staffing our businesses .We will create a business structure and learn how to develop a SWOT analysis for our business.  

Shark Tank week: we will view episodes of Shark Tank to help us get a clear understanding and practice for developing our SWOT.

Intro to Business and Technology

This week we will work on out Business plans.  We will evaluate how our social media following and blog followings are progressing.   We w ill complete our third 10 rules for success presentation.  We will select groups for students to participate in for planning of our Young Entrepreneurs Expo.

Theme, activities, participation, etc...... The students will also continue the planning and execution of their mobile app development.  We will view Steve Harvey's 10 rules for success this week this should be good!!!!!

Hello Parents and Students,

The upcoming week will bring us more challenges.  We will get further into the Mobile App development process. We will check our social media following for our businesses.  We will  meet Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg and learn their rules for success and get an understanding of how to apply them to our lives. We will learn more about social media marketing.

Introduction to business week 8/15-8/19

    We will be working on several standards our concentration will be int the areas of leadership, communication, marketing, and business development.   We will have our first full week of tracked social media marketing for our business ideas.  We will also blog and add content to our web sites.

We will complete our business description, mission statement, vision statement and set goals for the business plan.  We will also begin our mobile app development process. We will again study two great leaders in the american business community.  Looking forward to an outstanding week see you Monday!!!

Week 2

Students will be creating Beginning a Website, Mobile App, and Social Media pages for their business.  The week will include students learning the how and why of social media marketing.
They will begin creating the business plan and working on goal setting  for the business.
The students will also be introduced to two entrepreneurs and their take on what it takes to be successful.

Business and Technology Aug 3 week one

Today we will continue talking about leadership and communication.

These are two of the most important skills to business. If you are effective in these areas you will have a fantastic shot at succeeding in business.

Today we will begin with a listening game an instruction that your group must carry out.

We will follow that by discussing three different leadership styles. Then we will split into groups and role play one. 

We will individually create a 12 slide PPT  of a leader an explain which of the three best describes his/her leadership style.
