This is EXPO week. This week we will have our Young Entrepreneurs Expo. This will take place Wednesday December 7th from 5-8. This will be our primary focus this week. The kids will complete the expo and evaluate how the Expo came together.

Intro to Business
This week we will Practice by creating a shark tank competition atmosphere which will include 3 individuals sharing their business ideas. We will question them and ask questions that will prepare them for the Young Entrepreneurs Expo. Once we have questioned our three participants and chosen a winner we will make our business calls and finalize everything for the event.

The students will continue to work towards the Expo. They will complete the financial portion of the Business Plan this week. The students will research the expenses and estimate profits by researching similar companies. The student will also continue to take time to work on their elevator pitches. They will use these pitches in the shark tank events in the classroom and when introducing their businesses at the Expo.

They have locked down Chick Fil-a, Publix, Wal Mart, Papa Johns and Others. Amazing effort by the kids and we are expecting a spectacular event.

Introduction to business week 8/15-8/19
We will be working on several standards our concentration will be int the areas of leadership, communication, marketing, and business development. We will have our first full week of tracked social media marketing for our business ideas. We will also blog and add content to our web sites.
We will complete our business description, mission statement, vision statement and set goals for the business plan. We will also begin our mobile app development process.
