This week we will work on the & habits of highly effective people, begin our website and mobile app. This will be an outstanding week: We will use weebly for our website and snappyappie for the mobile app.

This week we will begin our business plan and we will also begin working in the Leadership and management unit.  We will work on both our business description and our Vision and Mission Statements. We are looking forward to a great week.

A look ahead:

The upcoming week will be a week where we begin to brainstorm and plan our businesses.  We will begin building our business along with exploring and learning through our Leadership and management unit.

Intro to Business

This is EXPO week.  This week we will have our Young Entrepreneurs Expo.   This will take place Wednesday December 7th from 5-8.  This will be our primary focus this week.  The kids will complete the expo and evaluate how the Expo came together.

This week we will Practice by creating a shark tank competition atmosphere which will include 3 individuals sharing their business ideas.  We will question them and ask questions that will prepare them for the Young Entrepreneurs Expo.   Once we have questioned our three participants and chosen a winner we will make our business calls and finalize everything for the event.

The students will continue to work towards the  Expo.  They will complete the financial portion of the Business Plan this week. The students will research the expenses and estimate profits by researching similar companies. The student will also continue to take time to work on their elevator pitches. They will use these pitches in the shark tank events in the classroom and when introducing their businesses at the Expo.
